The CDC recommends thatall people use core prevention strategies to protect themselves and others from COVID-19 by staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, using precautions to prevent spread when sick (e.g., staying home and away from others, wearing a mask), and seeking health care promptly for testing and treatment if you have risk factors for severe illness.
