Description: Clinicians can request consultation from DDC regarding a patient suspected or confirmed case of Tuberculosis. Contact: Complete the TB Consultation Form and submit via fax to 215-685-6477.
Description: PDPH will follow-up with individuals identified to have tuberculosis to determine contacts, provide testing, and offer treatment as needed to prevent the spread of the TB. Contact: Report tuberculosis cases to the Philadelphia Department of Public Health by calling 215-685-6873 during business hours and submitting via fax the Pediatric or Adult TB Reporting Form below to 215-685-6477.
Description: PDPH provides case management and treatment for all patients with confirmed cases of TB. The Lawrence F. Flick Memorial Center provides Directly Observed Therapy (DOT), medications, and clinical evaluations free of charge. DOT is the preferred standard of care for patients with active tuberculosis. PDPH also provides preventative therapy to patients with latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI).Contact: Clinic referrals to The Lawrence Flick Memorial TB Clinic are by appointment only. Description: PDPH will follow-up with individuals identified as possible cases of a disease to investigate the source of a disease outbreak or contain the disease before an outbreak occurs. This service includes providing prophylaxis at Universities when necessary.
