Healthcare-associated Infections/Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Collaborative

The HAI/AR Collaborative is a regional group comprised of healthcare providers and experts dedicated to preventing healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance. Participation in the Collaborative is open to all healthcare providers and other stakeholders involved or interested in infection prevention and control, antimicrobial stewardship, and HAI/AR epidemiology in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

The goals of the HAI/AR Collaborative are to:

  • Strengthen surveillance of and response to healthcare-associated infections.
  • Prevent development and transmission of antimicrobial resistance in healthcare settings.
  • Provide leadership, advocacy, and resources on best practices for infection prevention and control and antimicrobial stewardship.
  • Facilitate coordinated prevention efforts and communication between healthcare facilities.
