2025 Other Respiratory Viruses Reports
For week 15 of 2025, RSV activity decreased slightly, with 0.5% (14/2635) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity increased during week 15 but remains lower than peak activity seen at the start of the season. Human metapneumovirus activity decreased slightly during week 15, with 5.6% (36/639) of specimens testing positive. Adenovirus and parainfluenza virus 1 and 2 activities remained low with levels similar to previous weeks. Parainfluenza virus 3 activity also remains low compared to this time during previous seasons but has been increasing since mid-March.
For week 14 of 2025, RSV activity decreased slightly, with 0.6% (17/2675) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity decreased during week 14 and remains lower than peak activity seen at the start of the season. Human metapneumovirus activity increased during week 14, with 6.2% (36/579) of specimens testing positive. Adenovirus and parainfluenza virus activities remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.

Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity increased during week 13 but remains lower than peak activity seen at the start of the season. Adenovirus, human metapneumovirus, and parainfluenza virus activities remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.

Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity increased during week 12 but remains lower than peak activity seen at the start of the season. Adenovirus, human metapneumovirus, and parainfluenza virus activities remained low, with levels similar to those in previous weeks.
For week 11 of 2025, RSV activity decreased slightly, with 2% (59/3257) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity increased during week 11 but remains lower. Adenovirus, human metapneumovirus, and parainfluenza virus activities remained low, with levels similar to those in previous weeks.
For week 10 of 2025, RSV activity increased slightly, with 2% (70/3508) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity increased during week 10 but remains lower. Adenovirus activity decreased slightly compared to levels reported in week 9. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activities remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.

Adenovirus activity decreased slightly compared to levels reported in week 8. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
For week 8 of 2025, RSV activity decreased slightly, with 2% (81/3896) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity remains lower. Adenovirus activity increased slightly compared to levels reported in week 7. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
For week 7 of 2025, RSV activity decreased slightly, with 2.5% (69/2768) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity remains lower. Adenovirus activity increased slightly compared to levels reported in week 6. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
For week 6 of 2025, RSV activity decreased slightly, with 3% (93/3215) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity decreased and continues to level off. Adenovirus activity decreased compared to levels reported in week 5. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
For week 5 of 2025, RSV activity decreased, with 3% (95/2916) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity increased slightly but remained lower than what was reported in Fall 2024 and is leveling off. Adenovirus activity decreased compared to levels reported in week 4. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
For week 4 of 2025, RSV activity decreased, with 5% (148/2806) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity increased slightly but remained lower than what was reported in Fall 2024 and is leveling off. Adenovirus activity also increased slightly compared to levels reported in week 3. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
For week 3 of 2025, RSV activity decreased, with 6% (227/4013) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity decreased as well, with 8% (55/728) of specimens testing positive. Adenovirus activity increased slightly compared to week 2. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
For week 2 of 2025, RSV activity decreased, with 8% (302/3753) of specimens testing positive. Rhinovirus/enterovirus activity decreased as well, with 10% (73/711) of specimens testing positive. Adenovirus activity increased slightly compared to week 1. Human metapneumovirus and parainfluenza virus activity remained low with levels similar to previous weeks.
