The Health Bulletin is a newsletter for the community which provides information about public health issues and seasonal ailments. The Health Bulletin is currently distributed twice per year in order to cover Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter health problems. It is written for the general public at a 4th to 6th grade reading level and is currently translated into Spanish and Traditional Chinese. Special editions of the Health Bulletin are developed to address public health issues of concern, such as H1N1 influenza, Shigella, and staying safe after a flood.

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health encourages healthcare professionals to share the health bulletin with their patients. Healthcare professionals can sign up to receive the Community Health Bulletin directly via email here.

An archive of the Health Bulletin is available online on the City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health website here.
